Help customers understand the payment step.

Build the checkout and order follow-up around your approved merchant arrangement and business rules.

Clarify the purchase before the integration

Product availability, delivery areas, currency, returns and invoicing affect the experience customers need. Your business and advisers decide those rules. We turn the agreed process into pages, checkout behaviour and staff views, with a clear route for cases needing manual review.

The scope can include platform customisation, supported provider integration, order references and fulfilment handover. Confirm merchant onboarding, account access and test facilities with the provider. A logo on a design does not establish that a payment method is available for your organisation.

Review the unresolved attempt

A customer returning from a provider screen is only one signal. Staff need to distinguish a started attempt, confirmed payment, failure and a response still requiring investigation. A delayed result should not automatically tell a customer to pay again.

Try a repeated notification, interrupted browser journey and corrected order using the provider's authorised test arrangement. Finance should be able to connect an order to the provider record. Any real production transaction check needs explicit planning and authorisation.

The South African Reserve Bank provides official payment-system information; your bank or provider confirms the merchant-specific arrangement. We do not provide financial or regulatory advice. Discuss the technical scope alongside system connections.
